Sites of the untold

October 2, 2009 8:35am

..had a wicked li'l dream last night, of this kid i had in my life when i was a kid myself. And i'm so messed right now, got dry crumps in my tummy of these emotions; I hadnt had such a clear dream in ages. All angry of it's helplessness bcoz i'm too sloppy to have another of these orgasms inside my head.
So i turned on my brand new branded laptop; opened notepad straight! (No music playing in the speakers) I'm thinkin writing wud help a bit, world agreed. I normally dont write about such matters, am afraid if i'll lose the gud memory for bringin it out of my head. I mean it'll no longer be a memory, memories are to be inside the head, I bet n beg u know exactly wat i mean. But then, we gotta stay positive (Why?)
The clock has ticked 9:08am (n ticking.. away)

I have to remember me b4 i pass away..

Ajay was a not-so-regular 5th grader, LIVED with tons of loving ppl around (who now eventually, hav melted to a few gallons) In a not-so-small town, knownly Baramati (Maharashtra, India) he lived in the reflections of cheap green distemper and diversity. Ajay dint like the ppl from his building for knowing his background personally. So altho it was too hard to catch up with the street kids at night living on the 3rd floor of an old colourless, dampen building embedded in the roots of 3 giant peepul trees, Ajay wud still run downstairs at evening to catch up with those kids. The blunt moonlight streaks falling into his appartment every night wud rush him with awkward thoughts, The sounds of trees wud drive him curious. So he wont stay inside his house with the door open, it'd be like "Mummy, either shut the door or let me out. I wana play with those kids"
Street kids always were noisy n full of laughter which wud make him just wana leave the quite building n become one of 'em. Even tho they bullied him almost EVERY night, while playin hide n seek n chor-police it was always better gettin bullied than being struck by the silence of the night.
One day, Ajay's pappa raged him for hittin one of the street kids with a brick. (It was accident) The boy Vicky who got hit by the brick was one of the loudest kids downstairs. His mother arrived at Ajay's appartment and yelled at Ajay and his mother. She was even more louder. Ajay's mother cried out of embarassment. So eventually, Ajay was now forbidden from playin with the street kids. Few days later, Ajay's mother introduced Ajay to a 6-7 year young kid from the same floor where they lived. The kid's name was Mayur Kshirsagar (K silent).. He was rich (atleast he was richer) He had all kinds of toys, Ajay had streets in his head already, so u cud guess wat Ajay did with Mayur's toys everytime he visited his house. He wud steal them. Ajay never liked Mayur, for his quite n silly nature, or maybe bcoz Mayur was much younger to Ajay. Mayur dint hav a sibling, just like Ajay which wud annoy Ajay even more. Fair, thin, cherry lips - cracked of cold n sickness. Thats how I'd describe Mayur briefly. He always used to be in some sickness.
As days passed, Ajay had no option but to play stupid toy-cars n carrom with Mayur, Hardly did Ajay noticed, Mayur liked Ajay a lot!!.. So much that he'd weep if our parents wont let us play cuz of exams or watsoever reason. Ajay wud hear the cries.. thru the dull walls of his house, loud n heartfelt they were. Sometimes it'd kick Ajay out...sleepless. Months after, Ajay gradually started to like Mayur (still helplessly)
Ajay's 6th grade - Ajay now moved out to the much gorgeous side of the same town for a better living. He now has his own flat, 2-bhk flat with amazing highway view from the balcony. Altho it's still distemper on the wall but it was faint yellow. much pleasant than b4.
Ajay was a grown up kid now.. He was everywhere!! In his new area, he was everywhere! Mother had become much stronger.. she now wont fumble her lips when other kids' parents came with complains about Ajay for bullying their kids. Ajay is now much stronger too.. like damn he now plays basketball with the coolest kids from skool. Ajay's parents like the new Ajay, so they wont mind the minorities n simply ignore them. At times, Ajay wud miss Mayur somewhere inside but wont admit to himself cuz of awkwardness. It was a weird relation b/w them, felt as if it were incomplete. One fine day Mayur visited Ajay's new place where they had great fun all day long. Mayur seemed much happier this time UNTILL.. the same day when sun was about to set, Mayur's mom told Mayur it's time to go home. And Mayur started to cry.."I wana stay here with Ajay" he cried. It was a one hour ominous agruement b/w Mayur and his mother... it all happened infront of Ajay, who was dying of it's awkwardness. Next day onwards, Mayur started waiting for Ajay outside Ajay's classroom every recess (they were in same skool) It was time for Ajay to finally accept Mayur as a gud friend, so Ajay started hangin out with Mayur in 1st short recess out of 3. Afterall Mayur was only a younger kid who liked Ajay.

10th grade - Mayur's mother died of some brain disease. (Ajay heard the news from his mother)Mayur dint show up in skool for 12 days. on 13th day, Mayur was seen in recess, acted like nothin happened. Awkwardness struck him again. Days went, Ajay passed with distinction marks, moved out to the city for even better life (or so did he thought). This time, the flat is even large!.. 2-bhk, furnished n finished. balcony?... even larger!!... marble floors with velvetty wall paint. Ah, the feeling is good. I'm rich! There goes life... Soon Ajay was struck by the biggest failure of his life when he flunked in his 12th exams. His family n ppl were now stunned!! 'How The Hell Did He Fail?'

Father was always the strongest (or so did Ajay thought), picked up his boy's chins "It's Okay, beta.. just look forward from now"

One fine day.. Ajay's cyber addiction got him sitting 8 hours in the cyber cafe. When his father walked in the same cafe,
Ajay explained "I was chatting online with some friends"
Father: for 8 hours?
Ajay: ...
Father: Dont come in my house again (kicks off his scooter normally)
Ajay.. i will explain, lets go home.
Father: dont make me yell, pls just dont come home.
(drives off)

Ajay did realise the depth of the issue, to make it better he cycled back home. (mom opens the door, crying. Dad sitting with his friend with a glass of whiskey.)

"GET OUT OF HERE! Dare u take one step inside my house and i'll cut ur legs" - the man screamed.

"let me in.. i was doing nothin wrong"

(Mother pulls Ajay in, slaps) "dont u ever trouble ur father again.. ur not goin out again"

(drags son to father, asks him to make a promise to his father that he'd never go to cyber cafes again)

Father(speakin to his friend) "I bet my son has been watchin blue films all these days, look at his health.. i cud tell u the name of the disease hes havin just by lookin at his health, no wonder he takes so long in the bathroom"

(father spits on Ajay) "u brought me nothing but disgrace" (Ajay, hes too messed to speak for himself.. he dont wana understand his father's suffocations were real.)

Life adapted the biggest changes after that evening. The father to son reltion was brutally murdered. Even tho Ajay n his father did try to make each other happy but for some reason the happiness was only momentary. Father never spoke to Ajay as a friend again, but with suspection n profession.

Today, Ajay still doesnt remember Mayur as a close friend, but nature allows him often to remember Mayur as a special EVENT of his life.

..Today, he dont wana hear the sweetness of the sound of leaves when they giggle together, or take voyage of reminiscion into the crimson evening skies, nor does he gets a constructive feeling about his surroundings. But SOMETIMES it's insane how one li'l person from the past makes that frown turn upside down. Even tho... it's only momentary. :)
